At the first meeting of the new cycle, the new executive supported a heartfelt vote of thanks to outgoing Executive members. Also agreed were a number of sign up opportunities – see below.
A significant issue for many members. As much a matter for worker health, safety and wellbeing as it is an equality issue. Join our working group who will be developing a UWU model policy on menopause in the workplace in addition to a toolkit for reps and members to use in their workplaces.
We know many union employers fall short of providing the working environments for union workers they demand for union members. Join our working group where we will be reviewing everything from pay to hybrid working as we develop a minimum working standards charter to inform our 2022 campaign strategy.
More and more union workers are turning to the UWU for advice and representation with their workplace issues. If you can spare a small amount of time to support fellow union workers, you can join our growing team of caseworkers. Training, case supervision and access to legal databases are all available.
